Privacy notice

Version dated 17 September 2026

This notice explains what personal data Taureen collects through this website and when you get in touch, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read. If anything is unclear, email hello@taureen.com.

Who we are

Taureen is run by Mark McNally, a sole trader based in Jersey, Channel Islands. For the personal data described here, Mark McNally is the data controller and the person responsible for data questions. Contact: hello@taureen.com.

What we collect and why

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms or accounts. We do not sell personal data, buy lists, profile visitors or make automated decisions about anyone.

Coaching clients

Nothing on this website collects information about a coach's clients. If a coach works with Taureen as a pilot customer, the handling of their clients' information, including any health-related information in check-ins, is covered by a separate written data-processing agreement with that coach, and each client's explicit consent is obtained before any of their messages are processed. That agreement, not this notice, governs that data.

Where your data lives

Email to hello@taureen.com is forwarded by our domain registrar, Porkbun, to a mailbox hosted by Fastmail, both of which act as processors under their own data-processing terms. Enquiry notes are kept in files under our own control. Where a provider is outside Jersey or the UK, we rely on recognised transfer safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails and notes: while we are in contact and for up to 12 months after the last contact, then deleted, unless you become a customer. Customer records: for the length of the engagement and as long as the law requires afterwards. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and, where it applies, the UK GDPR, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it to you in a portable form, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@taureen.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner at jerseyoic.org or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
